We are absolutely thrilled! to report that Jack qualified for the 2003 Eukanuba Invitational National Championship Show in Long Beach, California, December 3rd. To be eligible, a dog has to be ranked in the top 25 of his/her breed from October 7, 2002-October 7, 2003 or have an all breed best in show win during that time. We at Gothic Mastiffs and Claudia and George at Erieside Mastiffs are very proud of Jack's accomplishments in the ring this past year and wish him the best of luck at this show. Jack is also preparing to go to the Westminster Kennel Club in New York City in early February; Lisa and Phyllis are driving there with Jack and 3 other dogs (a Rhodesian Ridgeback, a Tibetan Spaniel, and a Schipperke), and Jack's handler Ryan and her husband Kevin will be flying there to meet them. When the time for this exciting trip comes, we will post regular updates. In addition to participating in Westminster, these 4 dogs will be shown (all by Phyllis!!!) at some other shows along the way there and back, and we'll let you know more about these shows later
